A collaborative project with Allsorts LGBTQ+ group led by Shireen Short. The "Dear Me" postcard campaign asks people of the LGBT+ community to send letters to their younger selves. This results in a special and varied collection of anonymous letters. "Dear Me" captures and shares reflections of the LGBT+ community through handwritten messages using visual, audiovisual, and digital technologies. Collaboration processes serve as the project's foundation. These processes include those between the artist, Shireen Shortt, and the participants; our collective and other LGBT+ groups through personal communication and conversation; and by encouraging members of the larger LGBT+ community to contribute their messages.
